About Ataraxis Youth and Humanity Ministries Africa

Ataraxis Youth and Humanity Ministries Africa is a Christian children's ministry located and registered in Jinja District, Uganda. This organization exists to provide holistic care for orphaned, abandoned, and vulnerable children by meeting both their physical and spiritual needs.

Inspired by the compassion of Jesus Christ and guided by the teachings of the Holy Christian Church, we strive to create a loving family where children experience hope, healing, and the joy of knowing God. Everything we do begins and ends with prayer, trusting that Christ is the true builder of this ministry.

Our Vision

To demonstrate God's love and compassion by transforming lives, empowering communities across every generation, and spreading the Gospel to all nations through active church missions and community outreach. ``Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation``. - Mark 16:15

Our Mission

To uplift and empower individuals, families, and whole communities by providing essential resources, compassionate relief, and holistic spiritual growth. Rooted in Christ, we break down barriers of poverty, hardship and social injustice through collaborative community programs through, advocacy, and Gospel-driven solutions for people of all ages and walks of life. ``Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.`` - James 1:27

Our Core Goal

To serve as a vibrant beacon of hope -- shining the light of Christ across local and regional communities, establishing healthy local churches, and empowering adults, youths, and children alike to live purposeful, dignified lives that reflect the character and love of Jesus Christ. ``You are the light of the world.
